Pics of Trinity VDP in action!

    Activities in Need
Activities most in need of Volunteers:

Teaching 2nd Class students various aspects of Drama and Performance.

Twice a week we head down to SSS (located behind St.James’ Hospital) to bake and play sports with a group of young boys.

    11/12 Committee

    President
    Nicholas O' Brien,

    JS Engineering

Nicko co-ran Trinity Club last year and is now our beloved president. He is rumored to be friends with EVERYONE in college and can often be seen around the college in his trademark shorts no matter what the weather. His job is to keep everyone working together as a big happy family and to look after the day to day running of the society.

    Vice President of Activities
    Emma Bermingham,

    SS English

Emma is the glue that holds the VDP activities together.  She oversees all the activities and is in charge of all garda vetting!

Easily spotted, Emma usually has no less than two colours in her hair at any given time. Known to be able to talk for Ireland so don’t be afraid to say hi! Her personal achievements include completing Santiago twice and accidentally dying her hands pink for an entire week!!"

    Vice President of Fundraising
    Emer Murray,

    JS Engineering

As Vice President for fundraising it is Emers job to raise the money needed to keep all our activities going.

A veteran of fundraising and Santiago, Emer's motto has always been "putting the fun in fundraising", a saying she plans to live up to in the coming year by using "its' for Charity" as her excuse for planning all sorts of crazy events!

    Secretary
    Jonathan Moran,

    JS Physiotherapy

Jonathon is a simple hair model from Dundalk with big dreams. He was leader of Barrett Cheshire last year and also strutted his stuff in a number of strip auctions. This year he is secretary  and studies a bit of Physiotherapy in his spare time. As Nicko's right hand man he often finds himself overshadowed by the prez's wild firey hair.

    Treasurer

    Eimear Connolly,

    SS Engineering

Ever since she was young, Eimear had a knack for accounting. Well, she wore glasses anyway, so that's pretty much the same thing right? She's a sure thing to steer the Trinity VDP ship in the right direction, since she managed to run Trinity Club last year without bankrupting us on raisins and Capri-Suns. She's doing Engineering but if you ask her about it she'll probably just tell you to build a bridge and get over it. Geddit?!?

    Intervarsities Rep.
    John Devine,

    SS Engineering

John caught the VDP bug last year whilst volunteering with Trinity Club. This year he is the chosen one to spread the VDP love to all the other universities in Ireland, something he has excelled at doing in Trinity VDP. They don't call him Devine for nothing. His big gigs are the Crazy Intervarsities and Insmot weekends away. Word on the street is he spent the last 5 years paper folding and working in a pub in praparation!

    Public Relations Officer
    Rory Dunne,

    JS Science

Self-proclaimed “Coolest Committee member ever” and pig farmer, Rory has great ambitions in VDP as the PRO. After all without a PR officer no one would even know the society existed, right?

Rory’s contributions to VDP are without number, from the soup run, to designing the website and many more to come. His responsibilities as Public Relations Officer (minister for propaganda) involve promoting the society in every way (if you see the letters VDP, you can bet he had something to do with it!).
