Volunteers will be paired with an adult and meet them on a one-to-one basis to work on their literacy. This activity is ideal for those who would like their volunteering to work around their own schedules. All that is required is patience and an hour of time a week. To be without the fundamental ability to read or write can be debilitating. Volunteers will see how their willingness to share their time and skills will profoundly impact the development of an individual.
