Art Club
Thursdays, 16:00 - 17:30.
ART CLUB WOO YEAH!
Neil Buchanan? Finger painting? Giant pieces of art made from salt? Fancy helping out and getting covered in glitter? Art Club is easily the most creative VDP activity. Each Thursday we go to the kids at the community centre and do arts and crafts with the kids from St. Enda's primary school. Sure we won't always attempt some of Art Attack's more "adventurous" crafts...but we'll make cards, puppets, animals, props for the BIG CHRIMBO PANTO and hopefully....we won't need PVA glue...
Art Club is a great way to give back, don't worry if you're not a modern day Picasso! I guarantee you'll enjoy watching what the children can create from a pencil and a few feathers. With a bit of encouragement, even the most reluctant child will make something incredible with a few scraps of paper and their wild imagination! (We're talking dragons, guns, fairies....you name it!)
It was great fun last year and we'd love even more volunteers and ideas! This is an Art Club....THIS is an Art Club....THIS IS Art Club!
