    Activities in Need
    Activities most in need of Volunteers:

    Teaching 2nd Class students various aspects of Drama and Performance.

    Twice a week we head down to SSS (located behind St.James’ Hospital) to bake and play sports with a group of young boys.

    Garda Vetting


    Most activities in VDP require you to be garda vetted. It is a very simple process all you have to do is fill in a very   simple form and return it to a committee member/ activity leader.

    The main things you will need in order to fill in this form are:

    1. Details of your address and any past addresses.

    2. A photocopy of some form of photographic ID. (This can be a drivers licence, passport, even your student card!). 

    3. Two non family references from people who can prove who you are (An employer/ old teacher, anyone really).

     

    With these on hand you will need to fill in a Garda Vetting form. You can receive one of these by contacting our vice president for activities here or else contact your activity leader!
