Boot Camp 2012, an account, part II
Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 1:42PM Another account from a VDPer who had, what we can only describe as, the best weekend ever in Kerry.
Boot Camp, two words that will mean little more than nothing to most, but to some it will mean everything. A small house at the edge of Kerry provided the perfect atmosphere for VDP's first weekend away of the college year. It was initiated last year as a way of getting to know all the Activity Leaders at the start of the year and due to its massive success it was continued this year.
People traveled to a place far, far away... Catherdaniel for a weekend of getting to know each other and havin' da craic. And oh the craic was had, from the living room that was turned into a club with the complete lights and smoke machine package to the trek up a mountain, the paddling pool with beer and playing duck, duck goose on a beach.Trinity VDP reaches to a wide group of people and brings out the best in those people. For it was the people who came down to Kerry that made Boot Camp amazing, not so much what we did but more so who participated in it. The people made Boot Camp wonderful, the same people who will continue to make Trinity VDP fantastic this year.I hope you will get a chance to meet these people like I did. It has made my life better to be friends with those incredible people.
