    St. Enda's Homework Club

     Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 15:00 - 16:15. Meet at Front Arch at 15:00.

    Volunteering at St. Enda’s Homework Club is a fun and exciting experience, while at the same time giving a helping hand to local children.

    The 1st -3rd class children who attend the homework club are those, who for various reasons do not enjoy the type of home environment that allows or encourages them to get their work done. The value to a child of having someone come along and take an interest in them, even for a short period, is incalculable.

    The skills needed are basic: anyone with enthusiasm, who can offer support and encouragement. For an hour a week, the homework club offers a refreshing change of pace to college life while at the same time making a real difference to the lives of inner-city children. Bonds and friendships are formed not only with other volunteers but also with the children as well.
